Strengthening the website experience through clearer messaging and more purposeful navigation 

Sevenoaks Plans is a Kent-based architectural practice supporting homeowners with extensions, renovations and new-build projects, alongside land and development opportunities.

The project focused on reviewing and improving key areas of the existing website, helping the practice communicate its services more clearly and making it easier for prospective clients to find the information most relevant to them.

A particular consideration was the website's different audiences. Someone planning an extension or new home has very different needs from a landowner exploring development potential, yet both need to understand how Sevenoaks Plans can help.

I refined the homepage messaging to establish clearer routes for these audiences, alongside improvements to the website's service descriptions, calls to action and navigation.

The work also included reviewing and updating the contact form to make the enquiry process more straightforward, while capturing more useful information about prospective projects.

The land and development offering was brought more clearly into the main website, with updated messaging, consistent branding and more direct routes towards making an enquiry.

Together, these improvements created a clearer and more cohesive experience across the existing website, while identifying opportunities for further development as the business evolves.
